Dr. Hart is in private practice with Psychiatric Consultants, P.C., a leading psychiatry practice in Franklin, TN. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Hart is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is Fellow in the Southern Psychiatric Association. In practice since 1987, Dr. Hart specializes in the pharmacological and behavioral treatment of mood disorders, schizophrenia and dementia. He offers services on an outpatient basis in his office setting, and provides inpatient care at Rolling Hills Hospital where he is Medical Director. He is trained and experienced in the use of electroconvulsive therapy and vagal nerve stimulation. With over 10 years experience in conducting clinical research trials, Dr. Hart has been a principal investigator for a number of multicenter clinical studies in depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and dementia.
